just wondering how everyone is feeling about food, i cant seem to enjoy it at the moment, im forcing myself to eat so bubs is still being fed. Is this my body telling me that i should eat less? i should i be force feeding myself for bubs to stay healthy?
 
I'm off so many foods it's getting stupid. The smell of most things repulses me and I feel like I am living on cheese sandwiches. Lovely! :?

I got Matt to make me some Low Fat Supernoodles last night and although I ate them, the smell AND the taste of them was just YUCK!

Just eat what you can, when you can.
 
the thing thats bugging me is that it only seems to be junk food that im able to eat, ive pivked up and apple, grapes etc and i just have a couple bites and dont feel like it, but i could eat 2 bags of crisps on after another! i usually love my fruit especially grapes and pineapple but i seem to have gona rite off it and am eating the crap instead. ive even gone off bread cos i find its too stodgy so i hate my lunch everyday cos i have sandwhiches lol might buy some crackerbread thts a bit lighter
 
I only want toast choc, milk and water. I'm having to force myself to eat one good meal a day and fruit juices :( makes me feel sick eating it though :puke:
 
I was like that until about 19/20 weeks & now I can't stop eating- feel like a right pig :shock:
 
I don't eat very much... I tend to drink alot..and the things I do want to eat we a) never have in the house or b) are things I hated before I got pregnant... :shock:

I still haven't eaten today and I've been up since 7:30am to take my daughter to school and its now 2pm here...I just feel sick the minute I start thinking of food...

Saying that, last night my DH had a beer, and OMG the taste and smell was gorgeous!!! :shock: Most of you might not think that to be strange, but I hate beer... I can't stand the stuff... The last time I had to have a beer (and only because there was nothing else to drink) I was violently ill... But I had to keep taking swigs out of his can... It was really odd.. I didn't drink a lot as it was alcoholic..but I would have if I could have...

As for healthy food.. I used to love banana milk smoothies in the morning, now they make me feel dreadful... Not to mention my poor DH coming home, asking me what I want, he cooks it, then brings it out and the smell makes me feel ill... I feel so evil...but I can't help it... I eat it anyways.. but I just have serious food issues at the moment.
 
Oh I know how you feel with regard to crisps. They feel like a safe food because they are dry, and although I don't and wouldn't - I could eat 5 bags in a row!

I also went off the smell of milk so started adding a little Crusha to it to make it smell better.
 
squiglet i'm basically the same as you as far as eating goes, i dont eat hardly anything during the day but a main meal at night if i can enjoy it and get it down ok!! i also drink a lot of milky coffees during the day

crisps and junk i have no problem with but its mainly an evening thing, when i sit and watch tv or get on here lol.

I have days when i think i must start eating better but just can't face food so make a fruit smoothies or veg juice etc but that only lasts a day or two lol

I'm not too worried as my midwife says babies are like leaches and will get everything they need and i'll suffer before baby does

I sure hope i get a better apeetite back soon though
