Dolly is 3 in April and has never really eat since she was weaned, shes very small for her age and still has no hair ( I read online that sometimes your body gives all its goodness to everything else so your hair nails etc come last)
she still has terrible constipation thats she got a 6 months old and is on lactalos
she has been toilet trained since she was 18months but we could spend a full day going up and down the stairs trying for a poo till she ends up screaming stood up trying to hold it in.

anybody else had a child like this that doesn't really eat she only eats small amounts of pasta and boiled rice noting wet like mash potato and gravy.

I just though she would grow out of it but coming up 3 I cant see it getting any better.
My o/h also thinks shes got piles now so think I better take her back to the doctors to see what he says.

Luckly there is no places in her nursery till next September cos I really wouldnt like her going at the min I would just worry myself crazy

Ah that's annoying isn't it? Does she not like any other types of food? Maybe try adding some with her rice and pasta?
And I think a trip to the doctors may be in order :) x

I'm not too sure on how to help your daughter, but i definately think that you need to seek professional help about it.

I've seen people on TV in medical documentaries that are adults, but have had psychological issues with having a number two since they were very young and it had been a constant source of anxiety for them.

They don't enjoy eating because it turns into poo and they fear having a poo.

They seemed to put it down to them having painful poos at some point...

I might be taking it way too seriously, but definately don't do nothing.

I'm really not sure what to advise. maybe when she does go to nursery she'll join in with the other kids and do what they do an be inclined to copy them with their food. Also, if the teachers there encourage her to try new things it might be more effective than when you do it at home. I know my kids do whatever the teachers encourage them to do a lot more than when I do xx

This has happened to a degree with my best friends daughter. She was told by her GP that her daughter has a very small stomach, the size of a 6 month old baby I think she said. She was advised to give her purred food again for a while, so that at least she was getting a varied diet. She eats very little but is actually very healthy and a good weight now. She doesn't go to the extent of pureeing again but that's what the doc advised. She is also on meds to help her go to the loo as she has serious constipation which is so bad she has piles. She is 4 now and is still having issues. M friend said she used to cry and scream going for a poo. I have told her to push for a scan to confirm the GP's diagnosis, I cant believe that haven't referred her tbh.

Have you tried getting any milky 'build up' type drinks from the doctor, they can help to give her weight a boost in the meantime if she drinks milk. They usually give these if a child has been poorly and needs a boost as they have lost weight. My daughter is only tiny and I've started giving her Minadex Tonic which is multivitamin tonic you can give like medicine or add to drinks to make sure she is getting what she needs.

Dolly may need some investigation to check if her body is absorbing vitamins properly. My daughter is very petite but we think it's due to her enlarged tonsils giving her trouble, she doesn't really enjoy eating at all. I didn't notice her tonsils were abnormally large until the docs examined her when she had pnuemonia last year. When she gets the slightest bug that effects her throat she just won't eat!

yea I think the poohing problem in more in her head now as its never hard like it was one she was a baby I think she just think she dosnt want to do one so holds it in for as long as she can.
Last time I took her to the doctor's he felt her belly and said it was full of poo and that would all so be stop her from being hungry.
she go's to play group twice a wk been going since she was 18 months and they all sit down to eat and I thought that maybe seeing the other kids eating she might try new things but no.
another thing is she drinks loads like apple juice water anything she want drink all day long dunno if this is to do with anything.
Last hv I seen said I think mummy is giving into you too easy I dont think they understand I'm trying and monty was not like this.
she dribbles alot and has all her teeth so now she is going to see a speech therapist in feb to check she isnt tongue tied, I've looked online to see if this could stop them eating but cant really find anything.
