Follower of fashion or fashion victim?

I'm like Heppibean - jeans/combats and t-shirts/tank tops

But then again, I find it quite difficult getting clothes - I'm 5'11''. 36'' inside leg!!!

I'm 5' 6''... Dunno bout inside leg but it's short :p lol I have to wear next petite sizes for trousers so they don't drag on the floor! else roll them up lol xx

I'm opposite - most trousers in normal shops are too short - have to go to TALL section in Topshop, DP or new look. Also UK size 9 shoes!!

Sucks!!

I'm 5ft and a maxi girl all the way! I just get my dresses taken up. They are really forgiving if you get the right style and look good on the bump :)

So what shoes with a maxi dress?

I've got wedges and gladiator flat sandals?

Was gonna say gladiator sandals for sure. Maxi dresses are no good for me really I go out so much at the hips that they just make me look wide all over :(

I was in belfast last week and everyone was in those trousers m

They've took over in the last few weeks

The palazzo trousers are really in at the minute, maxi dresses, jumpsuits, anything floral really.. Be careful what you wear with the palazzos because the smallest pattern on a top can overdo it bigtime.. Maxi dresses are so easy to dress up and are really versatile, I tend to change mine about with waistcoats, big jewelery, gladiator sandals.. Hair up with big earrings and a maxi gives a nice boho look, chino trousers are always in at the minute and are gorgeous (and light for summer) H+M do gorgeous coral ones that are really summery and a change from the beige that 99% of people are wearing.. Chinos are really good too because they can be dressed up and down for day or night.. With the jumpsuits make sure u go try them on first because they have their elastic waist bit in different places and not all of them will suit ur body shape xxx

Wondered how long it would take our guru to find this thread

 you know your stuff don't you?

So what if you're not into flowers? :oooo:

Am I a lost cause jen?

I must be a victim, I wear what I like & what feels comfortable

I should be a bit more daring really

xxx

i LOVE chino's but there is no point in buying them at the mo

the first 2 months of this pregnancy was leggings everyday, its now maxi skirts and dresses!! xx

I wonder if there are tailored maxi dress type things?? (que febmum) I just look like a blimp in them, all my dresses need to be skintight basically (bar with a baby belly), I need gok :(

I'm awful with fashion. I haven't a clue! I used to dress grungy in my teens and these days I just wear whatever. I have no idea what goes together and lack accessories.. I need help!

I'm quite good at knowing what is good together - for other people anyway. I'm great at shopping for other people I just HATE doing it for myself cos I'm an awkward shape :(

Bottom wise i can pull pretty much anything off, but top half is what causes me a problem because i have such a big bust and tiny waist/stomach, unless its very fitted or a stretchy material then it just hangs off me ... cue maxi dresses making me look 6 months PG

I'm the same with the boobs bit, always has to be low cut and fitted otherwise my boobs just look stupid. My bottom half is worse, everything that fits on the waist is too small on the hips and if it fit the hips it hangs off the waist :( (well during non pregnant times anyway)

I live love breath TOPSHOP lol
I live in jumpsuits there so comfy just wish I had more money cos I need everything

I follow in small ways, I tend to be kinda classic most of the time, I have quite an hourglass figure, broader shoulders and then ten inches difference between my waist and hips, I look best with waist pulled in. I'm lucky that I also have reasonable legs lol

I love dresses, not just maxi's though. Strangely enough though this weekend I wore Capri pants one day and shorts both the other days :oooo: and I did them with heels on Friday night!!

Really wish I could do maxi dresses but being only 4ft 11" and a size 16-18 really doesn't help matters!!! :-(

I'm definately a victim. I would love to follow fashion so to speak. Instead, I just wear what is comfy. I have a couple of pairs of elasticated waisted trousers at the moment purely for comfort. They were fab during pregnancy and I've still been able to wear them now... the joys of "elastic" hehe! ;-) I have a couple of summer dresses but usually knee length ones... although they tend to end up below the knee on me due to my lack of height hehe!

So in otherwords, I think I need help too haha! xx
