Probably nothing to do with my pregnancy but for the last few weeks my eye lid has been fluttering and i have no control over it. strangest thing is, when i mentioned it to hubby his has been doing the same!
On the contrary, ive noticed that often the flutters happen when baby kicks. proably not related though are they?

It is because of the extra blood pumping around your body, people sometimes get it from caffeine excess or too much exercise..but in pregnancy it is blood flow ,really annoying, i get it sometimes too. ( I reckon your hubby is just having sympathy symptoms :) )
Prob not related to baby kicks !
PS I am a contact lens optician and have had patients say about it many times!

Oh sorry for stealing post but jocymum do you know were I stand with my contact lens when im in labour they are the all day all night ones that you only change once every 30 days I asked the midwife but she was'nt sure as I can sleep in them?

Every time my baby moves I get cramp in my leg the midwife said its on a nerve

i had a twitchy eye lid once and the doc said it was due to stress.
Not that i am saying JOCYMUM isnt right.
Only that there are a few different reasons for some things

You are right treena - stress, nicotine, caffeine, over exercise- basically the little vessels around the lid get full and pulse (like the throbbing vein in mens temples when we get hormonal :D ) But in preg it's prob cos we've got more blood flowing around. Get it checked out if your worried obviously !!
Some peeps are fine with their c/lenses in preg but other get mild swelling of the cornea and need different ones-- I can't wear mine at all for example, talk about sods law  I would ask your C/lens person cos you don't want to take chances with 30dy lenses...
I get the cramp thing--- i know nowt about legs tho

Yes, my mum had this and was told the same thing by her GP.
