I love BF. I really do...I don't ever want to stop. It's been such a nightmare getting here but at almost 19 weeks I finally feel I'm getting established :-)

I know life would be easier on formula and she would probably sleep better but the pleasure it gives us surpassed all that.

I'm so glad I didn't give up - it's been my biggest ever challenge!

Mum had LO overnight and said she kept snuggling in, although she wasn't hungry she clearly missed boob, which I found so sweet :-)

Pointless thread but I think hubbys a bit bewildered when I cry feeding her, as I'm so happy to be here! Lol Xxxx

Aww Hun I know what you mean my LO is only 3 weeks and its far from easy but very rewarding! My LO sleeps fine during the day as in all day just waking for feeds its just nights she has an issue with lol but we will get there! For the record I don't think bottle feeding would be easier as I would have to fully get up and about to sterilise and warm bottles rather than just latch her on haha! Xx

It really is wonderful.

And yeah I don't imagine bottle feeding would be any easier, as no garuntee that it would get you any more sleep. As I'm sure plenty of formula feeders will testify too. lol

Xxx

In other words, bottle or boob, good night sleep seems impossible :(

Well done, I'm only just beginning to understand the level of achievement that is persevering with bf. I'm hoping I am making a post like this soon!!
