Hey,

was anybody else given the flu jab on their GP booking in midwife appointment? Even though she says it was only 4 weeks until the wi get season is considered over (in terms of when the NHS stop offering it) she said to be on the safe side, as our immune systems are obviously weaker whilst pregnant.
Well I had it, and even though it's supposed to be an 'inactive' dose, I feel terrible!
probably just a coincidence but I've got a headache, sneezing and a cough!

Anybody else have/having it? Xx

i got a cold/mild flu when i had my jab

im currently on my 3rd cold of my pregnancy

made me feel terrible in my first pregnancy i decided not to have it this time just the whooping cough jab. *touch wood* no flu for me!

hope you feel better!

xx

I went to my first midwife appointment yesterday, she asked me if I wanted it cos winter is almost over...I said yes! I've been ill twice since I found out I'm preg! I think it's worth it x

I had mine and no flu for me, got my whooping cough one tomorrow xx

I had mine, my arm was sore for a week and I couldn't sleep on it, but I've not had any colds or anything at all so far. I'm not usually ill anyway but thought I should have it as I would feel guilty if I didn't, then got flu and it affected little one.

I've had my whooping cough too, that also made my arm sore for a week. I think my immune system just goes a bit crazy when I get jabs so gives me a sore arm.
