..I get those eye floaters all the time, especially noticable when I look up at the sky or on a sunny day. Seem to have more now that I am pregnant. Anywho, when I stood up earlier and walked to tge door a saw flashing floaters... It was like a few dots of light were in my vision. I stopped moving as I briefly thought it might be me getting light headed...and after a couple of eye rubs they went away.

Anyone had this happen to them?x

Sorry to butt in hun. I haven't had any flashing plotters but I've had floaters when looking at the sky or lights or snow. I've only had it since being pregnant. I did mention it but it didn't seem to be a problem. Id talk to your midwife hun. Do you feel light headed? X

No, and I haven't had any more flashing ones. Normal floaters are annoying but they don't concern me... It was only because they are flashes that I was like huh?! I have a tiny bit of a headache, so maybe it's was a warning sign of a migrane that never developed ( I get auras before a migrane, though that's usually a zig zag line).

If you are getting visual disturbance and headache you should get BP checked ASAP Hun and as Pinkymum says, speak to MW.

Please take care of yourself

Got one in my left eye but I'm wondering if it's just from my operation or I'm losing the plot.

Get loads of the things, started getting hem as a child and they can last years before one goes away... During which time another develops. It's funny when you stare at glass and blink upwards and try and watch them drift down but you blink and they go back up again! Haha

I don't like flashing ones as they are more noticable and scare me :-(

Get your blood pressure checked hun. I had this, it's a very unsettling feeling isn't it? It turned out I had LOW bp and was signed off work for 2 weeks and told to rest and drink 8 pints of water a day. Made a HUGE difference.

Now is the time to look after yourself :hugs:

I thought it might have something to do with low bp, mine seemed lower at my last mw appointment...then gain she was talking so much that she pumped too much and nearly strangled my arm! So the Reading ea probs a bit off.
I didn't have much o drink this morning, just orange juice, so that could have something to do with it. Just had a pint of water, bout to have another. If I get any more flashing ones hen I will call.

My blood pressure's always been really low and I do get this every few weeks - usually when I haven't drunk enough water I think. Hope that's all it is but worth mentioning to your mw anyway. Make sure you're drinking lots x x

I'm not sure stumpy the only thing I know is that it can be a symptom of pre-eclampsia but then again, this just might be a normal pregnancy symptom for you if your prone to them. Definitely get it seem to though.
