Hey,

We're going to Hungary in a few weeks and I know we can take the pram on board for free, but does anyone know about travel cots?

We're going Easyjet and the website says:
Pushchairs, buggies and travel cots can be taken right up to the aircraft door or steps and they're free of charge to bring on your flight. One of our crew will then take them from you and store them safely for you. You'll be able to pick them up when you land from the baggage carousel.

Does that mean as well as a pram, is it part of one of our handluggage?

(Trying not to ring as only have a mobile and the calls are so expensive, lol, thought I'd see if anyone knows!)

Think it's just the pushchair Hun, I've not seen a travel cot brought to the door before. You may have to call them to check though.

On a side note o am pissed off wih easyjet, I checked flights they other day and to have Evie sitting on my lap is gonna cost us £20 each way!! WTF, she will be on my lap, why do I have to shell out £40 for the luxury. Migrate aswell by a seat for her!!! Grrr

All airlines that ive flown with always charge a minimum of 20 quid for the luxury of letting an infant sit on your lap lol.. although they generally let them have 10 kilos baggage aswell.

I know! I was v annoyed at that £40 when she's not even having a seat, so will demand she gets her share of luggage, maybe I can say the cot is hers, lol!

Plus their website isn't working so I can't add her passport details, grr!

I may print off the bit about travel cots and be prepared to fight, lol!

If they say it on their website then it must be true. Do what you said, print off and take with you.

Good luck.

We're flying soon. Just got to get her passport.

oh i didnt know abou tthe 10kg for the baby, will have to cheakc. We're flying easy jet and I called to check about a car seat, it is free aswell as the pram but car seat will have to be checked into hold. pretty good as they're v expensive to hire with hire car.
hope u can take the travel cot!

Thanks. Think we're just gong to do cot and pram and practise folding it down rather than take it apart and not bother with the car seat. We have friends with children out there so we can always borrow one if needs be.
So looking forward to it!!

If ur goin flight only they dont get any weight allowance :-/
But if ur bookin a package u do,
