So hubby is totally in love with the name fletcher for a boy. He mentioned it last time round too, and therefore I am trying really hard to let it grow on me.

I don't dislike it, I just don't love. I don't really know why not, as it has the unusual element that I like, but is not too far out there. Anyways, I am trying to think of a middle name to go with it so that maybe once I hear it all together I will begin to love it, and in the process make hubby very happy!

So far all I can come up with is fletcher grey or fletcher Cole. Our surname begins with a b and is 2 syllables long, so I guess middle name could be long or short. Nothing too common, something to funk it up a little ~ suggestions very welcome!! Thank you!

I like it actually its a bit different!

Thanks Gail! It is slowly growing on my, although I would really like an Albie Blue x

What about Albie fletcher? That sounds nice!

Oh interesting thoughts!!! If we did fletcher blue we would probably need a third middle name to give a 'b' gap before the 'b' surname, but I do like fletcher blue! How did I not think of that??!! Blame baby brain! I love a good middle name and use my lg's often. Thanks ladies xx

One of my oldest and closest friends is called Fletcher. The only reason it would annoy me is it being shortened to Fletch. You're right though, it isn't too out there. Fletcher Blue sounds lovely xx

Ah thanks lulu, so I presume fletcher is a nice guys name? I have never known one (or taught one!) which is a bonus! X

Why would you need a second middle name if you would've liked Albie Blue? There'd be two B's together there too :)

Fletcher Blue is very cute :)

I would have a second middle name for Albie blue too. Wilson is my husbands traditional family middle name as it is their type of Scottish tartan. Xx

Fletcher Wilson sounds great together. Without Blue I think. My Step-Dad's called William Hutton Mc........ Hutton is a family name he inherited as his middle name. I also know a Hannah Gordon Ramsay, Gordon being her middle name for the same reason as Wilson & Hutton. Poor girl lol. Her two Sisters also have boys names as middl names too lol x

I quite like Fletcher Blue, but it's a little too unusual for me.

How about Fletcher Jude?

I'm dreading the baby name game! I'm not even preggers yet and I've started a list! With my little boy he didn't have a name on his due date! Thankfully I went over by 10 days as we finally decided by then! This time I'm starting early!! Super early!! Haha!!

XX

Funnily enough Jude was top of our list last time for a boy... Think we have both grown away from it a little. I love the whole baby name thing ~ the lists and the new ideas etc. really makes it all feel more real to me. Never too soon to start a list! X

I went to school with a Fletcher- but that was his Surname!

It also reminds me of the character Fletcher in Porridge. It's not for me, sorry x

I know i'm the one that suggested it, so i'm a little biased but I REALLY like Fletcher Blue. It's sooo unusual but not too out there or outrageous. Plus, nobody uses their middle name on a daily basis so "Blue" being unusual doesn't really matter. What does matter is that you and your hubby LOVE it!

Ah thanks maid of Kent. Fletcher blue I am definitely considering, although my fave is still Albie Blue. My daughters Middle name is lilac. As you say it doesn't get used lots so I do really like more unusual Middle names. Xx

For a boy, I LOVE Harry but the oh says no....he wants Ian (after his dad). Definitely not lol. I also like Ryan and Kieron.

Not pregnant yet though, still trying to convince him we're ready lol.
