matthew babbles but i dont class it as talking he has said hiya before but not sure if that was a fluke! We say yum yum and in reply get bum bum its his new favorite sound along with squeling like a little piggy god only knows why he has started doing that!
D said mum mum for a fair while and recognised me as Mummy soon after (as I was the one who got what he wanted, and it was all he could say probably!). He only started saying dada last weekend though
If she says it in clear response so something repeatedly, then it could well be her talking to you
I love their first words and noises, it's so funny Trust your instinct hun, if you think she understands what she is saying, then she's talking
