First Ultrasound?

Hello all!

I am planning to schedule an appointment with the obgyn, its hard finding one when you move to a new country! I have recently relocated to Doha. Any who, I do have lupus, arthritis and fibromyalgia. I will be going in to do blood test. Forgive me for my ignorance, but how soon is too soon for an ultrasound? I was told before by my Rheumo that I would be considered high risk and would need to go for extra appointments, but I can't seem to find anything regarding how early? I appreciate the advice, I have so much to learn!

What country are you in? They tend not to scan until at least 6 weeks in the UK, sometimes later.

I had an ultrasound with my first baby at 6 weeks. This time around I had an ultrasound at 9.5 weeks so I think it will depend on when your doctor wants to do it. Your doctor will know when the right time is. Congrats on your pregnancy!
