First scan app

How long did you ladies wait for scan app after your booking in appointment?

I only had mine on Saturday just gone, but so impatient already.
Last time, either the midwife or hospital (they blame eachother) mucked up and didn't give me a scan app, so not sure how long I'm expected to wait just to know the date.

I'm 12 weeks on Friday, so time is ticking to get one sorted.

I had my booking in yesterday (exactly 12 weeks) and my midwife said the next steps would be for her to send my paperwork off to the hospital and I should receive a scan appointment shortly after. I asked if she knew how long I'd have to wait but she said because I'm 12 weeks, I should be seen in the next 7-10 days.

I suppose it all depends in how the hospital you choose is running. Ours is currently 12-14 weeks for the first appointment and scan may happen then or soon after it. Been told its a waiting game until the referral comes back.

I had my booking in appt at 8 weeks and received scan appt 6 days later x

Thank you ladies, hoping sooner rather than later. We are away for a long weekend, so praying it's not from that Friday to Monday and if it is then they'll have to reselected so really need a scan date asap just incase we do have to reschedule it xx
