First period after m/c..?

Hi,
This morning my first period came following a m/c... but it's all watery and pink, I mean its fairly heavy but the doctors told me to expect a heavy flow but this isnt as heavy as my normal periods they're usually bright red and heavy with really bad cramps, cramps today have been there but not awful. :/
Should I see my GP or is this normal?
Has anyone else experienced this?

My MW said nothing is more indavidual than how our bodies cope with MC. Not that that helps specifically but I think therre is probably a big range of normal.

It's so weird, barely any pain now and its actually made me happy, usually im crying at everything! Well yesterday I was, but i think it was more to do with im not preg lol!

Sorry to hear about your loss.

My first cycle after period was awful, the first day it was fine quite thin? almost the same kind of blood I lost whilst MCing, then by day 2/3 the flood gates opened

Last period after that was pretty much normal, still a bit thinner and less - stringy?? but flow, amount was normal.

I also got awwwwful OV pains 1st/2nd cycle after MC, 1st was by far the worst, it hurt even when I took a breath!

Oh gosh! I usually have a few twinges with ov anyway, but i really hope it doesn't get that painful!!! D:
The flow is like really light now, and feels like its stopping, Im hoping its changed my cycle so I only bleed for a few days instead of 7-8! I have read about that happening...
I have also read that the first period after a m/c you dont ov, but how do you get your period then, am I being silly?

Some people do!! Some girls have gotten pregnant the cycle after a MC.

I think it obviously just depends when your body gets back to normal if you have enough time to mature and dispatch an egg

I didn't catch my first cycle after but I gave it a half arsed attempt, I was still sussing myself out - and actually this cycle isnt any less confusing as I OV'd 3 days early, which has set testing time in the air!

I did get light twinges, then the first cycle after I genuinely felt like my ovary was gonna pop! The last OV was just a bit more crampy than twingey and bearable. I got so annoyed the first OV after MC as I was in so much pain from OV I couldnt DTD!
