First period after coming off pill?!

Hi everyone,

Last Tuesday I stopped taking the pill and then had a withdrawal bleed from Saturday until last night. Felt fine all day and then from about 8:30pm I've had terrible cramping pains. It feels like I'm going to get my period. If AF does arrive would this count as my first real AF or still withdrawal bleed from pill as only finished last night? I've not had this before which is what is making me think it may be real AF.

As we are waiting for my first real AF before ttc today I was thinking that the wait begins and then we can get started!! This is just confusing though!! I haven't actually come on at the moment though but it feels like I could at any moment!

Just thought I would update. The pain has now stopped and there is no sign of AF. I read online that I could be having cramps due to change in hormones as my body has got used to hormones in pill and now has to do everything itself. I'm hoping this is a good sign that my body is sorting itself out.

Yeah you can have some weird symptoms post pill. You likely won't get real af for another few weeks. Good luck! X
