First night in cot

Hey everyone, pointless thread but my little poppet had his first night in his nursery & cot last night! Was dreading it TBH but so far so good. He slept 11-6 then 6:30 - 9:30, although I was awake at 5.

Joe was exactly 3 months old yesterday, just wondered how old everybody elses babies were or will be when they leave the moses basket.

Cahal was about the same age when he went into his cot in his own room, he was too big for his moses basket and there wasn't room in our bedroom for a cot. He's always slept better in his own room, I think we disturbed his sleep too much (OH snores like a train!)

Lizzie is in a crib in our room, probably won't move her until she's 6 months, but that's mainly for my sake!

Well done Joe! Isla was 6 weeks old when I moved her in to her own room. She slept loads better once used to the cot.

We put Seb in his cot in our room only recently (last week or so, so 5 months) as up until then we co-slept all the time. Now he goes in his cot for 7pm and after his 2am feed he comes in our bed. We won't put him in his own room until he's a lot older (probably 18 months or older) x everyone's different and you gotta do what's right for you and your baby sounds like he's settled right into it for you!!!

Tegans been in her own room since 12 weeks and went from moses basket to cot at 15 weeks she sleeps so well in her own room! x

We've just moved Isla into her crib out of her moses basket but she's still in with us. I don't think we'll move her into her own room for another month or so.

amelia has een in her own room in her crib since she was 2 weeks old because we were disturbing her all the time xx

Thanks ladies, don't get me wrong, if I could've kept Joe in our room, I would but he's too big for his Moses basket & we don't have the room for a cot in our bedroom. Having said that, I do want him to get used to his nursery so we don't have problems later on.

*Update on Joe's sleeping*
The little tinker had me awake at 1, half 3, half 5, 7 then 8 so I gave up and got up!

Anyways, gonna try to get my head down for a bit.
