First night home alone!

So nervous, I shouldn't be, but really am. Tonight is the first night it'll be just me and Emily in the house as DH is away with work.
I never used to like him going away before we had Emily, but it just seems so scary now! I'm sure we'll be fine. But still...

YOu will be fine!! My DH had a business trip when HArrison was 6 weeks old and he was as good as gold, think he liked having his mummy all to himself!!

I was like this when oh went on a night out and stayed at a friends, but Charlie was better behaved without hearing his daddy banging around and being loud every ten mins. I know what you mean though I was worried about murderers and thrives, even though we've not much worth stealing and if they wanna murder anyone its oh! Lol. But on a serious note you'll be fine, Id chill out and take advantage of having the remote to yourself x

Well, baby is washed, scrubbed, fed and in her cot... For now! Bottles are all prepared, I've done a load of washing and hung it to dry, and now I'm watching TV! . Hope she stays settled for a while longer, I could get used to hogging the remote control!

I'm sure she'll be fine, and so will you. And if your OH is anything like mine, he's useless in the middle of the night anyway so I might as well be on my own! lol

if your OH is anything like mine, he's useless in the middle of the night anyway so I might as well be on my own! lol

My OH is as deaf as anything - never hears the baby crying in the night - sleeps right through! It's just the reassurance of having him there in case something bad happens!
