Hi Girls

Just got back from our first midwives appointment and feel more concerned than beforehand!!!

I have noticed over the last few days my symptoms seem to have stopped (increased appetite, tiredness and sore boobs). I wasnt too worried as I have heard plenty girls on here saying the symptoms can come and go. However I thought I may as well mention it whilst we were there. Next thing you know Im being booked in for an early scan tomorrow!!!

Obviously this could be a good thing if all goes well and it will put my mind at ease (I had a mc in October) but she then carried on through the meeting saying things like "well we normally give you vitamins at this stage but I wont bother until we know everything is okay"!!!!

My hubbie and I didnt know whether to laugh or cry when we came out!

awww try not 2 worry 2 much hun, like u said it happens to alot off ppl, she shold have been a bit more supportive and reassuring! im sure everything will b fine. x

Sending you plenty of positive thoughts.
You'll have the scan soon, and fx you'll feel so much better afterwards!

Oh this midwife, she was really not very considerate !
I think health practitioners should really always keep in mind the human and compassionate aspect of their jobs. Lack of bedside manners drives me mad - when they have real bad news to announce, not to mention when they just don't have a clue as was the case for you today. Grrrr!

Keep strong and let us know
xxxxx

It was a little tactless how she approached it! Will be good to see babba tho! I am sure everything is fine Hun. X

let us know how you got on. Hope all is ok xx
