Harry just had his first expressed feed

He took bottle no problem then switched back to boob with no fuss... Clever boy :)

Only thing is OH gave it to him and found myself feeling a bit sad watching, bit like I wasn't needed, how silly is that? Anyone else felt like this?

I think I would've back when he was newborn but now as he won't take it I'd be rejoicing!

Yay! That's great he took the bottle no problem! We topped up K for the first few weeks and everyone wanted to feed her her bottle. It really bothered me too. They all wanted photos of themselves feeding her too, which I didn't enjoy either. Now she refuses a bottle and I wish other people could feed her once in a while lol.

pinky did he ever take a bottle?

i didnt know they could suddenly start refusing it after taking it?

i am looking forward to being able to leave him but i'm glad i wont be around when people will be feeding him :( i think feeding is a special thing between us, dont like the thought that anyone can do it now, i'm so greedy!

He did have a couple of bottles very early on and got what we think was nipple confusion which scared me so we stopped for a while and he'd no longer take it.

I have also heard of them just stopping. They know where their breads buttered ;)

I was in tears the first time my hubby gave LO his first expressed breast milk in a bottle, I had to leave the room!

I felt like that the first time we left G with inlaws. She'd had bottles of expressed before the boon cos she wouldn't latch and that never bothered me. But the first I watched MIL give her a bottle I felt really weird. Xxx

Don't know how I would cope watching anyone else give him bottle if I can't even watch OH. It took me by surprise as was looking forward to expressing to get a bit more freedom

Henry won't take a bottle :( I've tried and do has DH but he gets himself in such a state. DH really wants to help feeding him and I want to go bak to Zumba. I'd only be out for 1 1/2 - 2 hours and could feed him before I go and when I get back but hate the thought of him being hungry and not being able to be fed :(

Yep get what you mean about feeling unwanted, although it doesn't last long cos I always manage to find something else to do lol

Well done Harry :pompom: xxxxxxxxx
