First drink of water

After the discussion on her I was planning on getting a beaker for Ellie at some point soon to start offering her some water after her meal. After her meal today, I was drinking a glass of water (with a handle while feeding her). She grabbed the handle and took the glass to her mouth (it was empty). So later I filled the glass with boiling water and allowed it to cool and then offered it to her. Again she took the handle, took it up to her mouth and drunk some water. I kept my hand on the side of the glass to take some of weight, but I couldn't believe it. I don't know if she was really after the water or just wanted to copy me as I am always drinking water all day. I think she likes water!

Wow, Ellie is a clever girl! you can probably skip the sippy cup and go straight onto a regular plastic cup, that's great
