Aww, unfortunately I don't have any sound advice, but didn't want to just read and not reply! Sending you some hugs!!! xxx

Thanks hun, my poor hubby is I'll too so between us its not fun here today!! X

Hey hun, aw sounds like a tough day! I just thought I'd tell you about my son.... he's very active and has never been one to sit still, the more tired he gets the faster he gets. Which can be exhausting when you're worn out or poorly! He's never been one to watch tv or films then my friend told me about mickey mouse club house! Wow, this program is amazing. My son loves it! I'm not saying I'd stick him in front of the tv for hours but its certainly worth it for 1/2 of quiet time! The only thing he'll ever sit still for is this and It's actually quite educational. Also, with my pregnancy with him I found sips of lemonade helped my sickness and also tuck crackers. Not very healthy but better than not being able to eat anything. I hope this help hun and hope you feel better soon x x x

Awww well he was a little star this afternoon, we played with the pop up ball game and read some books - i have BT vision kids so i'll try that mickey thing thanks for that!

he's now tucked up in bed, little earlier than normal but i think its the time changing bless him! Love my baby so much!

Just wanted to send :hugs:, I am really sorry I can;t relate and give advice in respects to little man and keeping him entertained whilst your so poorly.

I have found that eating little and often has worked for me and lots and lots of water.... :) of cours eyou then have the adverse effect of peeing all the time!!!!!!

Aw glad it was better this afternoon! Nothing worse than feeling so tired and ill and not being able to play! BUt no matter how rubbish you're feeling they can always make you smile x x x

Totally agree, they sure do make every day worth it! x

Oooh, the Mickey Mouse Club House is so so true! Why didn't I remember that! My friend has a gorgeous 2.5 year old and he is the most active little boy ever. I did often volunteer to babysit him for my friend, and I now remember when Mickey came on (the hot dog song!) he was hypnotised! He sat in front of the telly and hardly even moved, then every now and then he'd get up for a little dance and sing-along...so so cute! So yes, maybe try that when you need a little snooze! :)

I hope both you & hubby start feeling better soon! Maybe try some of your friends if they'd babysit your son for a couple of hours so you can get some sleep!!! Hugs! xxx
