First Antenatal class... What to expect?

Hi All,

If anyone has been to any hospital-run classes I would really appreciate knowing what to expect. It's our first one tonight and I've no idea whether it's just a chat, talk, videos or exercises. Therefore don't know what to wear, and as we have to go back to work after, not sure if a change of clothes is needed. Please help! X

I've just read this and guess I'm a little late now. I didn't go to hospital classes but mw ones and they were basically a lesson - mw talks, you listen and ask questions. I don't think you'll need a change of clothes. Sorry it's too late.

That's ok, thanks for replying anyway. Went last night... Was shocked at how unorganised it was and what little useful information was given. Might buy a DVD instead!
