Well the letter arrived from the hospital today, with the big all clear from any other chromozonal problems from my CVS, so I started telling work and then this evening we told the kids!
It was the best thing I have ever done, they were soo shocked even the eldest one at 11, he cried with happyness straightaway, and number 2 , really, really, really loudly ! and was chuffed to bits and then cried later when it sank in, and has had his head and hands permently chained to my belly ever since and my youngest wants it to share her bedroom and wants to name it Josie or Tommy! We also decided to tell the about the problems (kept it basic and freindly), that we had had and the baby we lost, as that will help explain why I was a pants mum for a few weeks and crying all the time before, they took it totally in their stride.
My OH recorded it on his phone , as there eyes nearly popped out of their heads! , so we can keep that moment forever so special.
They wanted to see the car boot clothes I got, and played with them, and the free nappies and all the leaflets etc I had been hiding, I showed them the forum and everyones tickers, and all the weeks pictures that has past by already on Pregnology and explained the basics, they have only just gone to bed they are still buzzing! Loved it and well worth the wait
