Fertility massage/acupuncture

Hi girls. I'm thinking of trying either a fertility massage or acupuncture, mainly to help thicken my lining after chlomid thinning it but am looking for some recommendations before I book as its quite pricey! Thanks x

Hi, I'm looking into the same thing and have read lots of reports about Gerad Kite. Am booking an initial telephone consultation.


Most local ones I've looked at cost about £30-40 a session. Got a feeling he's going to be way more, but if it works it'll be worth it.

I am currently doing Aupuncture, as its so expensive I was doing it for once a fortnight leading up to my treatment - its £40 a session. I've been going every week since I started my IVF treatment - nearly 2 weeks ago. I'm playing it by ear as to whether I will go before/after ER and ET. I am doing it at my local wellness centre which is called the Healthworks in east London. WHether its doing anything internally I don't know yet but it defintly does relax me - it's nice to have someone to talk to about everything with a bunch of needles in random parts of my body lol!! I was in a real state before I started and now I'm much calmer.

I'm starting accupuncture on Friday to help with endo pain and hopefully fertility although I've just about given up all hope. Will let you know how it goes x

Hey ladies, sorry to butt in. I'm interested in the thread as I have just posted on the ttc board about acupuncture. I sadly had a mc end of last year and my regular 29 day cycle is up the shoot. I'm on about 38+ days. I have had 2 cycles since erpc and know I have ovulated but just wondered what your thoughts are re acupuncture to help regulate cycles? Any advice much appreciated xx

Hey girls, I hope you dont mind me coming in to tell you my experience of accupuncture. I had been trying to concieve for 2 years and with issues with being severly overweight I struggled. I got a cycle back got pregnant then had a mc. At this point my body shut down completely no ovulation at all. At this point I was wanting to try anything so I went for accupuncture and the lady was brilliant. She always talked about my levels just needing balanced. Anyway I saw her every fortnight as I could afford. The actual accupuncture really relaxed me. My AMH was low at 5.4 but 3 months into the accupuncture I had it taken again and it had risen to 8.9 which is very unusual for it to rise. I felt that the accupuncture.

Anyway I attended the 2 week appointments for about a year. Then my IUI appointment eventually arrived. During the process she made me go weekly and a special non needle really appointment in insemination day. A week later 7DPO I had a session and she asked when I was to test as my pulse was very good. I said a weeks time. She said test Wed and wouldnt let me make the fillowing weeks appointment. Tested the Wed 2 days before my official test day and BFP. She knew all along. She was very like that. She used to tell me things rather than ask and was always right.

Now I am not advocating in the slightest that she and the accupuncture got me pregnant that was the IUI but I firmly believe it helped the whole process and that it helped my AMH. I also think it can depend on the person as my lady was very specific in feetility issues. She was also no nonsense to the point. Blunt at times when I needed it ie your body is not over the emotional stress of mc etc. I say its pricey but definetly worth a try. Oh and they can tell your pregnant by your pulse for sure. She knew I was for sure. Also told the girl who reccomended her to me she was pregnant after she was going to her agter 2 years of trying. She didnt believe her went home done a test anyway and BFP!

My friend tried the acupuncture and she said it helped her cycles out and she eventually became preg a few months later too x
