Sorry guys warning this is a feeling sorry for myself post :(
My mum looking after my son until April when she goes back to her holiday home abroad. she has been unwell and had lots of tests and we went to see consultant. She has Colon cancer. I'm
Absolutely devisated as she is like my best friend. Also we are now trying to sort nursery out for Owen with no money. Nursery is £980 a month and gov will give us about £500 so we have to magic up £500 a month from thin air?? I mean I only earn £1000 a month ?! It's redicolous I dunno what I'm going to do. I've also just started UNi doing night study and dunno if I can continue now. :( my oh is crap and unhelpful.
Sorry just feeling so low x

awww hun im soo sorry about your mum is therenothing they can do?
Wow nursery feees are soo expensive im not looking forward to looking into this... is there a cheaper nursery or is a childminder cheaper x

Hunni  I'm really so sorry to hear about your Mum. Is she able to have any treatment to help combat it?

Childcare fees are so expensive! I personally think that it would be better for the government to provide free childcare places for working parents and scrap the tax credits.

Hope you're okay hun  xx

Thanks guys she is going in for surgery in next two weeks which is why we have to sort the nursery ASAP!! It's redicolous the cost of fees. I'm basically attempting to budget less like for food to send him to nursery!! :/ can't win x

That's awful re the child care hun :( could you consider evening work instead? I know it shouldn't have to be that way though xx

Aww hun. I hope your Mum's surgery goes well. Let us know how she gets on. Thinking about you all. xx

Ehat about a private childminder hun....generallt cheaper and if ofsted registeres (which is the norm) then you still get help. My cm costs 4.50 per hour and he srill socualises with the other chuldren she loiks after and when the go to toddler groups etc.. checkiut childcare.co.uk really gelpful x

So sorry to hear about ur num.......

So sorry to hear about your mum, wishing her a speedy recovery.
I feel your pain re; childcare, working mums are all penalised in this way and its such an unfair situation. Most of my money goes on childcare too.
I hope you find a solution, I know how stressful it is :hugs: x

Thanks guys x
