Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and well I feel like rubbish. I recently moved to a different country to be with my boyfriend and I hate it! The animal cruelty is sickening and we have 3 dogs we adopted. and now to top it off my bf is away for 2 weeks and I'm being harrassed by a neighbour who is cypriot and is a giant pervert! He's already grabbed me and bruised my arm, made a sick comment which I dont want to share, he keeps making horrible comments when I walk my dogs and then came by my house he knows I'm on my own and my neighbours are horrible to me for no reason. I honestly feel so down and upset (possibly hormones cause) I don't know what to do or who I can talk to. :wall2:

Oh sounds like you are having a shit time . The key to feeling better if you have to stay is to meet people. investigate clubs and societies on line or at the local meeting places, find an expat community, look into clleges courses and try hard to make freinds. I dont know if the country your in gives any rights to women it sounds like you dont belive that they do. If so I would question why you would want to stay especially when your bf leqaves you alone all that time. Can you get a job to meet people?

Its always hard to move to a new place and make freinds when you have noone to go along with you to fill the awkawrd silences.

Or alternately get a dog who will be a companion and security for your or a big gun and shoot the creepy guy (depends upon the local laws !!:))
Good luck. Dont just sit and stew try to change things.
good luck

Good advice here (apart from shooting the creepy guy :)) I've spent a few years living away from the UK and it is difficult, but it will get easier. Making friends and building your own life there is vital.
Hang in there!
