feeling selfish

I'm not having a present off my mum due to a problem with the catalogue, my birthday & Christmas money from my in-laws has gone on Doodles, hubby & bills. Hubby's managed to get me a couple of DVDs & I picked up a cute £2.60 framed quote for Doodles to give me. Don't get me wrong I don't regret what the money's gone on & I'll never let on that I'm disappointed, but I am. And now I feel guilty for feeling disappointed. I think it's more to do with there being no surprises left. That & hubby's got a full box of gifts plus gifts of my mum & nan & I don't. I feel like a brat but I'm honestly not crying or stamping my feet & have assured them it's fine x

I have hun, & it is wonderful (Akira got to it & destroyed the wrapping, thankfully the gift was unharmed). It's gone on bills & cleaning products mainly. Hubby says he's going to give me the cash in New Year out of his bonus but that doesn't look like it's going to happen now. My mother ordered me the phone (she doesn't know I know what it is) I wanted but the catalouge company pooped up so she's sent them an email telling them to stick it lol x

yay my Mum kicked some butt & my gift arrived today! I've told hubby to just save up to get me the phone I'm after, my dad & step-mum have sent down a gift each & £40 for hubby & I to see in the new year & my grandparents have given us a gift too x

Awe Doodles...I admit to feeling the same. My OH hasn't bothered his arse to even get me a card from my baby that's the worst bit. Am so sad about it. He also wanted to give me remote control lights for my bedroom after once I said I was too sleepy to move to turn them off! I'd just had a section. My mum, Grandparents and dad have all spoilt me but like I say its his unthoughtfulness that's upset me!!!

Sounds like ur Christmas fairy has sorted you out though. Have a lovely time xxx
