Feeling Dizzy/Hot/Nauseous

Been feeling light headed, hot and a little sick for the past hour. Was getting quite bad 'period type' pains earlier which have now eased off, although still getting a few niggles.

Not sure if I should ring the hospital or not about the dizziness or just wait to see how I feel in the morning??

drank lots of fluids?


i would have something to eat and drink and see how u feel in a lil while, if ur still concerned then ring the midwife or matty unit

Yes, had a curry and choccie cake earlier. Have drunk quite a lot today, although still feel thirsty (probably because I am hot!)

I think I am going to go to bed and see how I feel. I am sure it is nothing to worry about, just getting a bit panicky towards the end.

Thanks for the quick reply. I didn't want to phone the hospital unless it was serious. Plus my MW finishes work at 3 and switches her phone off!

dont get me wrong, ring me if ur really concerned, but if it was me i wud have something to eat and drinka dn then see...

but for the sake fo a phone call it cud just put ur mind at rest x

Thanks for the advice, am feeling a bit better now. Had a cold drink and I think that has helped. Just going to lay on the bed with the fan on which I am sure will make me feel even better.

I just meant with the hozzie that I didn't want to call them and make a fuss, if it was just because I have got to hot and tired!

Thanks for the help last night Lozzi, feel better today. Had a rubbish night as usual but don't feel light headed or sick anymore. Got MW tomorrow so will mention it to her.

Seen the MW this morning and she said baby could have just been laying funny to make me feel dizzy.

She said baby is 3/5ths engaged and doesn't think it will move down any further. So it is just a waiting game now!

I am defo getting more twinges, so hopefully sometime in the next week!
