Yesterday Id been feeling really poorly and sleepy. I put the nursery border up and then lay on the sofa as I couldnt move my neck was so stiff and everything hurt. My OH returned home about 11 and I went to show him the border and felt really dizzy. I took my jumper off as I was really hot and my OH said ew whats that. I had a purple and red rash all over my bump. We rang NHS direct and they asked loads of questions and asked me to put a glass on the rash and it didnt go. It looked like I was bleeding under my skin. So they told me to go straight to hospital. We were seen straight away and the doctor checked me over and said its a virus and I should go home and rest. I feel really silly now as I spent the whole way there thinking I was going to die. The doctor seemed to think it was nothing to worry about but Im still a little worried. Im at my Moms today being looked after :) Cant wait to get my internet at the house.

Oh you poor thing! I'd have been worried too so I can see why you were. The body is an odd thing and when we're pregnant it seems that we just have all these odd things happening to us.

I hope that the rash soon disappears and you stop worrying. At least it's nothing serious

aww hun

I would;ve freaked out at a rash like that too - dont worry! At least its nothing major and now you're being looked after :)

xx

Aww, I would have got worried too. Being ill is one thing, but when you are carrying a little life around inside of you, it makes any new health concern seem so much worse because you worry for your child too. You are not silly

  Thanks ladies. I think Im going to relax for the rest of the week and start washing the LOs clothes :)

My goodness, you shouldn't feel silly for worrying

Hope you are on the mend soon.
