Feeling A Bit Crap... (And A Q About Braxtons)

You will both be fine- Deb- I bet you will be the calmest and most well-behaved person on the whole maternity unit! And I agree, you will feel heaps better once the ironing and all the last little jobs are done! :hug:
 
It doesn't help when people are constantly saying 'It could be anytime now!' I've been getting the same kind of thing with the pains and stuff, but for some reason I don't feel like it's going to happen anytime soon..like I'm not as far along as my ticker says or something..My labour bag isn't even ready yet! :lol:
 
Aaawww hun dont worry, you will feel much better once your nursery is organised but even if Flump came today everything would be alright - he/she will have 2 fab parents and wont need anything else or care about the ironing! :hug:

Also you prob have the most knowledgable and well prepared OH in history so you will be absolutely fine in labour, I am v jealous - mine has said he is gonna 'cheer me on from across the room'! How supportive!!

Its probably just more hormones freaking you out, my BH's have increased a bit the last few days and seem to be worse if I have a big meal or a dodgy tum, and sometimes its hard to tell if its just Bean having a major squirm and stretch.

Hehe! That made me giggle! Ask my Dad, sister, Matt... I'm never well behaved. I am always in trouble with my sister for leading her kids astray and winding them up! (She is going to get me back big time LOL).

I think that most of it probably is hormones as I just bawled my eyes out at the furniture in the nursery. I was fine til last night and today and I think it's just hit me!

At least tonight I can go to bed knowing that we are ready... more or less. Like you said, ironing isn't that important and can be don at any time - although it is my main priority tomorrow!

It's this horrible feeling of sickness I'm not enjoying. I feel like I did in Tri 1! Nausea, tiredness, can't sleep, headache... you name it! LOL

Anyway, thanks girls. I always know I can count on you lot to make me feel better! :hug: :hug: :hug:

Sorry your feeling so pants.
Hope you feel better soon, the symptoms of tri 1 don't sound nice, I have had them too and I totally know what you mean about the BH feeling like ligament pain, I think I am getting a stitch and get pain when I walk to fast, could just be bubs moving or ligament pain, good luck and hope flump arrives soon.

dont worry deb ive warned matt to wear a thick coat and gloves after i told him i bite brian durring a contraction :rotfl:

cant offer advise about BH tho , never got them !

and im sure your more prepared then u think you are , and if ur not it sorts itself out . ive stil not even finsihed the nursery yet and his clothes etc where far from sorted when he arrived but it doesnt matter ! nothing matters much once there here aslong as there warm , feed and loved !
 
:hug: :hug: :hug: Don't worry. I was scared about labour before I had James but when it come to it a sort of primal instinct kicked in and I just knew what to do and felt ok with it. You'll be fine :hug: :hug:

I cant give advice on the braxtons Hicks, I never noticed them with James, I think maybe I just mistook them for the him moving.
