Feeling A Bit Crap... (And A Q About Braxtons)

You will both be fine- Deb- I bet you will be the calmest and most well-behaved person on the whole maternity unit! And I agree, you will feel heaps better once the ironing and all the last little jobs are done!

It doesn't help when people are constantly saying 'It could be anytime now!' I've been getting the same kind of thing with the pains and stuff, but for some reason I don't feel like it's going to happen anytime soon..like I'm not as far along as my ticker says or something..My labour bag isn't even ready yet!

Aaawww hun dont worry, you will feel much better once your nursery is organised but even if Flump came today everything would be alright - he/she will have 2 fab parents and wont need anything else or care about the ironing!

Also you prob have the most knowledgable and well prepared OH in history so you will be absolutely fine in labour, I am v jealous - mine has said he is gonna 'cheer me on from across the room'! How supportive!!

Its probably just more hormones freaking you out, my BH's have increased a bit the last few days and seem to be worse if I have a big meal or a dodgy tum, and sometimes its hard to tell if its just Bean having a major squirm and stretch.

Take it easy

Hehe! That made me giggle! Ask my Dad, sister, Matt... I'm never well behaved. I am always in trouble with my sister for leading her kids astray and winding them up! (She is going to get me back big time LOL).

I think that most of it probably is hormones as I just bawled my eyes out at the furniture in the nursery. I was fine til last night and today and I think it's just hit me!

At least tonight I can go to bed knowing that we are ready... more or less. Like you said, ironing isn't that important and can be don at any time - although it is my main priority tomorrow!

It's this horrible feeling of sickness I'm not enjoying. I feel like I did in Tri 1! Nausea, tiredness, can't sleep, headache... you name it! LOL

Anyway, thanks girls. I always know I can count on you lot to make me feel better!

Hi Debbie
Sorry your feeling so pants.
Hope you feel better soon, the symptoms of tri 1 don't sound nice, I have had them too and I totally know what you mean about the BH feeling like ligament pain, I think I am getting a stitch and get pain when I walk to fast, could just be bubs moving or ligament pain, good luck and hope flump arrives soon.

dont worry deb ive warned matt to wear a thick coat and gloves after i told him i bite brian durring a contraction :rotfl:

cant offer advise about BH tho , never got them !

and im sure your more prepared then u think you are , and if ur not it sorts itself out . ive stil not even finsihed the nursery yet and his clothes etc where far from sorted when he arrived but it doesnt matter ! nothing matters much once there here aslong as there warm , feed and loved !

   Don't worry. I was scared about labour before I had James but when it come to it a sort of primal instinct kicked in and I just knew what to do and felt ok with it. You'll be fine

I cant give advice on the braxtons Hicks, I never noticed them with James, I think maybe I just mistook them for the him moving.
