I'm pretty sure I've given Henry my cold :(

I've had a runny nose, sneezes and sore throat since Friday. Yesterday only runny nose, sneezes and cough cos of all the phlegm (sorry tmi!) sittin on my chest.

Henry was coughing a lot last night, he has been sneezing a lot more than normal (he always sneezes at least 5 times a day anyway!) and sounds bunged up

I've used the nose sucker and calpol spray on him. The cough doesn't sound painful but must be annoying for him.

He is feeding like normal but he didn't have a very good sleep last night. He did 10-1 hen 1:30-7:30 but he stirred quite a lot and ony went back off with me rocking him.

He is still happy and smiley but think I'm gonna take him to the doctors at 4 to see if there is anythin they can give me for his cough. his underarm temp is 36c, our ear thermometer broke and I can't replace it till Tuesday.

Feel rotten for passing this onto him but suppose its inevitable :(

Oh hun dont feel guilty its one of thoses things...so he caught your cold, they get a certain amount of them in the first year and this is one more out the way. I hope you both feel better soon

Don't feel bad, they get loads of colds. Since Oz started nursery he gets one constantly, a 2 week gap if we're lucky :wall2:

Are you u BFing? Breast milk works as a decongestant so will help him loads xxxx

Yeah I'm EBF. I know he will get antibodies through the milk too. Bm is amazing stuff! Clears gunky eyes and relieves congestion!

 Hope you both feel better soon. Don't feel guilty, when he's bought home nits, slap cheek and God knows what else from school he won't feel guilty at all :D xxxxxx

I have the same problem in our house.

I like to think of it as her building up immunity though. Making her produce lots of antibodies to fight infections in the future.

I'm sure it will pass soon.

:hugs:

ahhhhh don't worry larlybelle thomas gave james his cold who subsequently went and gave it to me which has now turned into a throat infection and an ear infection i feel like utter poo lol hope he's better soon xxx

Been to the doctor. There is nothing they can give me for him. Just nasal drops when he Jan ingested but I'm gonna use y calpol spray as its easier to use on Henry and its exactly the same. Just gotta wait it out.

He doesn't seem to have coughed as much this afternoon. Still sneezing but thats normal for him!
