feel like iv been lead on

i had my phone appointment with my doctor, in previous appointments hes said after hubbys sperm results come back i'll hav an x ray on my tubes. then we'll be refered dependin on results.
but now he's said caue iv had a misscarige in march i hav to wait til feb to go anyway further. so weve gotta go back in feb.
does he really think im goin to be pregnant in 3months??
if it took us nearly 3years last time. i kne i was pregnant for just 2days
its like my hubby said wish we hadnt had said iv had a MC then we wouldnt have to wait till feb.
im so upset

Can you not go for a second opinion? Did he say why he changed his mind? As he would have know you'd had a mc in March when you went to see him.
I dont rate telephone app's at all, I just find them too impersonal and its easier for them to get rid of you.

March was months ago!!! What has that got to do with it,and 3 years to get there.
Dont stand for it, keep harassing until you get our appt and way earlier.
That or alternatively - sneak behind his back - can you phone and speak to the Secretary and say you are waiting for results and is it possible to move this appt forward.
I tried the latter as I had a appt at fertlity clinic for Feb, I had it last week!!!
So it payed off for me.
Good luck!!

i feel alot better now
he said cause i had the MC in march u hav to wait a year to get referred.
i jus dnt see how 3months is goin to make a difference, i kno im not gonna get pregnant b4 feb.
i think if hubbys sperm test woulda come back low then he woulda done sumert sooner.
roll on feb eh.
i feel like i cant make another appointment with him cause he'll be like well iv alrady told u.

Sorry you're feeling down hun, you're not alone, you have us and we are all in the same boat. Does the doc mean you've to wait til Feb before you're referred? Don't think it's fair he's making you wait longer than you have to, it's been over 6 mths since you're mc, surely plenty of time for things to settle? Hope you get some answers soon hun xxx

Aw Ab I'm sorry to hear this. I agree with the others, you should definitely try getting a second opinion, just go to a different doctor and explain the situation and I'm sure a more sympathetic one will refer you xxx

Sounds like you're being fobbed off, was your pregnancy or miscarriage confirmed by bloods?

You could say it could have been a faulty test??

If you decide to wait are there any bloods you've not had done that the GP could do in the mean time, mine has done most of mine..

How old are you as as well, if you're over 30 I'd not want to wait around either.

Tell him that waiting is putting huge mental strain on you and you really don't feel it's at all unreasonable to be referred now.

My GP referred me after just 2 chemical pregnancies and 9 months TTC, I knew something wasn't right and she believed me, although the hospital were later a complete waste of time my GP was great.

im 23, so age isnt on my side yet.
ye iv all my bloods done so they kno i ovalate.
hubbys sperm count is fine.
jus wish he woulda told me theres nothing else he can do till feb.
well tryin to be postive were nearly in december then iv only got 2months and its feb.
it'll soon come round.
jus gonna hav to try and take my mind off it and it'll soon be here eh xx
