Feel like crap

Hi all, woke up this morning flued up i'm in alot of pain. I have been on the sofa all day with fire on off on off on! Can't get warm at all and i'm so dizzy when I stand up

When I go toilet it really hurts, feels like I have an urinary tract infection or something....and those organs at the bottom of my back are killing! (don't know what they are, think they are kidneys?)

Would flu affect the pregnancy?

My dad had it the other day and it lasted a few days but im in so much agony

Also are paracetamol ok to take?

I'm ill too hun so can sympathise You can take paracetamol but not much else hun. Hope you feel better soon

If you seem to have pain or aching in your kidneys , which does sound like you could have and urnine infection, please see your doc tomorrow, you have to get it treated asap.

Urinary infections are common in pregnancy, so get an emergancy appointment

Hi hope you feel better real soon i felt crappy yesterday as well slept most of the day and couldnt get warm woke this morning feeling loads better just have a cold now

I'm always getting uti's and they can make you feel feverish. Get yourself down the doc's today.
I'm getting a cold and feel all washed out and generally blah! I couldn't get warm at all yesterday so had the fire on.

If it hurts when you pee and you are sore in your lower back it sounds like you definitely have UTI. You MUST MUST MUST go to the doctor. If you leave it it will only get worse and could lead to blood poisoning - trust me, I know! Promise us you will go to the doctor.

Hi everyone,

I'm a little better, sorry I havn't been in touch, the thought of actually sitting up and using the laptop made me feel ill because all I have wanted to do is sleep to get rid of the pain.

I went the dr's yesterday and she said my pee (which was a browny orange colour YUK) tested strongly for a water infection but she's gonna send it off to get it tested. I'm on antibiotics...can't remember the name of them and I have no strength to get up to check either lol but I think they are ones specially designed for pregnancy.

I had to get in the bath yesterday before going the dr's because I felt really crap and all of a sudden I felt so sick and I shot up and had to throw DD's toys out of the jug and be sick in there eww I hate being sick!

Still feeling sick, got sore boobs and high sense of smell so all good signs I guess

Not much pain now compared to what it was like yesterday but everywhere is just aching like flu symptoms and i'm still really light headed. Been drinking cranberry juice too and it seems to be getting better

OH has had to have 2 and half days off work to look after Aaliyah aswell so I have no idea what wages are going be like

Still no call off a midwife either It's all changed now, when I was pregnant before I had to get in dr's and tell them and then get referred to a midwife, now they just put your name in a book and get them to call you back! Dunno if thats just my doc's?

I just hope I can get up and walk about again soon though as i'm still attatched to the sofa for fear of falling over if I stand up

Sorry you're still feeling icky hun. I hate uti's, they're so painful and make you feel like utter sh*te
Take good care of yourself and don't get up unless you really have to. Cranberry juice is great. I need to check with my GP if I can take cranberry supplements as they're good for keeping uti's at bay.

Last time I looked at my ticker I was about 5wk 1 day now im 5wk 5days! Thats how long I have been on the sofa sleeping for Wow that's just come as a shock!
