i just need to rant.
I've had an awful day today with Olly. He was up 4 times in the night wanting a drink then woke for the day at 5.40 ??!! I put him into my bed and he slept until 8am but I couldn't get back to sleep and hubby went to work at 7am. He has been an angel all morning, we went to the supermarket for fruit and milk then went to meet my friend for lunch at 12 - he just flipped, chucked his food , screamed, cried - I couldn't do anything because we both had plates of food I front of us do I couldn't just leave. I put him in his buggy, he screamed, I put him on my knee, he screamed !! So we left , he fell asleep asoon as we got home so I put him in his buggy for a walk, he was still asleep but I walked round to a little playgroup we go to every Thursday just for my own sanity and a cuppa. He woke up as soon as we got there so got out to play, had to be wRned 2 times in the first 10 minutes. Just asking for trouble , snatching toys, hitting kids, knocking all the juice cups off the table - he knew what he was doing !! Last straw was when he hit another boy in th face at snack time , for no reason ! I'd seriously had enough. I dragged him from the table and put him in his pushchair and took him home - as I was leaving I heard one of the new mams say 'there was no need for that' ... It took so much not to go back in and lamp her one !! I'm tired, feel sick, thumping headache and the heat is killing me .. And iv got this to deal with !!!

Roll on bedtime !

You did the right thing to put him in the pushchair and leave, he needs to know he can't behave that way and if he does there will be repercussions. Sod what the other mum said!
I feel for you, especially being pregnant I bet you'd love nothing more than to sleep in the heat. You're doing a great job, write it off as a bad afternoon, regroup and start again xx

Must be the day for it! My two have been a nightmare all day! Thankfully they slept at the same time for half an hour at lunch time during which time I scoffed my chocolate I keep in case of stressful days like this. Made me feel much better!

I think the heat makes them cranky!!

I would have do e the same as you, pushchair and leave. Sod the other mom, she will have her day!

Big hugs and roll in bedtime x x

Last 48 hours from hell.
His bad behaviour was down to an ear infection, so the last 2 nights have been so hard.
We have had no sleep and Ollys just cried and whined the entire time. We have been back to the docs this morning and they have changed his meds, amoxocillin wasn't touching it.
I'm just hoping for a better night tonight, I'm absolutely shattered

Xx

Oh hun I feel for you. What an absolute nightmare. Poor olly too. Matthews had three ear infections and it's terrible. The first one back in November he screamed literally all night. Totally sympathise with the behaviour thing too. Matthews been terrible lately the smallest thing can bring on a full on rage! It's so hard to find the patience to deal with it. I can't imagine being pregnant too. As for the new mama and her comment, well karmas a bitch, she'll know all about it when she has a two year old!
