There was this site mentioned on the gadget show the other night where you enter in a list of stuff you havin your fridge/cupboards etc and it comes up with massive lists of stuff you can cook!! Were using it for tea tonight, were having cheesy bacon potato's and pork chops.....different eh? I'll get the link for you xx

Oooo thanks, looks good, off to investiagte whats in my fridge!!

Do you know what I love that's SO easy to make. Don't know if you guys eat fish?

Baked haddock, new potatos and green beans with parsley sauce (Mmmmmm I'm hungry today )

My fish tends to be out the freezer (bad I know) but when it's fresh:
Wrap the fish in foil with a little bit of butter (by little bit I mean just under a tbs worth) and stick it on a baking tray on 170c for 20 minutes.
Green beans are easy, I tend to steam mine.
Boiled potatoes pee me off, they never come out right for me. I just stick them in some water and boil them for 20 minutes.

Parsley Sauce
Ingredients:
1 tbs butter
1 tbs flour
2 garlic cloves chopped
1 cup milk
(i add salt and pepper but you don't have to)
1 tbs dried parsley

Melt butter in a saucepan and add garlic. Let it cook on low heat for 2-3mins.
Mix in flour.
Add milk a little bit at a time, mixing it in untill it's all in.
Then just stir parsley in and take it off the heat.

Or just cheat and buy a packet

i dont eat fish but Mark and Rosie do, so definatly worth giving it ago for them :)

my very favourite dinner has to be a chicken noodle stir fry!

cook noodles as per packets, or try straight to wok ;)
then fry chicken in the sesame oil with garlic and mushrooms, add spring onions, once noodles are cooked and chicken is cooked, drain, add to pan, add soy sauce and mix with bean sprouts.

i serve this with all different things - like mix in cashew nuts, and chilli sauce or prawn crackers! gosh i'm hungry today!

noodles
bean sprouts
mushrooms
spring onion
garlic
soy sauce
sesame oil
chicken breast

ooooo sausage and cheesy mash, beef stew and dumpling and jacket spuds with chilli con carne!

I love "winter food"!

Ooooooh I'm going to be keeping an eye on this page for ideas xxx
