My insensitive lump of a husband didn't get me anything for mothers day and I was upset (He still hears about it now after all these months).

Not going to be petty though so will get him a card. I was thinking about getting him this Man U outfit for baby girls that he's been looking at but it's £10 and I just bring myself to "waste" money on that. Thought I might get him something baby needs like the room thermometer  , he will obviously find this very boring but I'm tight as a ducks bottom  .

Are you all getting something for OHs for fathers day??

I didn't get anything either

I have bought something for DH though, it's a book called 'How to be a DAD' it's got very little writing and looks more of a photographic journal, he's into photography so thought he'd enjoy it.

I'm also going to buy him this one and try to hide it in my hospital bag as a little surprise (like you'd need anything after meeting your newborn, but hey)!

OH didn't get me anything for Mothers day either despite my hint

I've bought OH a card though. I'm refraining from getting a present though, as it's my birthday a week later (and his) and he forgote my birthday last year too! x

I got flowers and a card from Dave for mothers day, even baby daddy got me something (wow thinking about it we pretty much split on mothers day lol)

I MAY have gotten Dave something but he'll probably read this and know lol! Obviously IF i have got him somehting its not exactly a "to daddy" type thing, more of a "thankyou for pretty much being daddy" thing

I didn't get anything on mother's day either-which i thought was a bit mean!! Especaillly when I heard you could get cards saying 'For a mother to be' I was pretty offended!!

Anyway...cos I'm a bit more thoughful that my DH I've bought him a card. I didn't knnow whether baby would be here by then...she's due on the 8th June but I could quite easily still be waiting when Father's day arrives!!!

i got perfume, a card, a teddy and a mummy fridge magnet for mothers day so wanted to get him something

as i am 10 days over i cant really get to the shops so i just got cheesy stuff from tesco, super dad t-shirt & boxers, best dad toblerone and i love my daddy bib (£1.50 from woolworths)

i also got a photo frame with me and my daddy on that i was planning to put a pic of him and baby in

tesco has some great stuff if you just want a token gift, they have mugs for £1 and socks £1 and the toblerone was £1.60

I didn't get a Mothers Day anything either, which doesn't worry me - although if he forgets next year there will be trouble.

I have bought OH a 0-3 month 'my first liverpool strip' romper suit. I'm not getting a card though. TBH I'm only getting it because it is something we'd talked about getting anyway and I like buying stuff :D

ive got the same but for aston villa, mine is a 0-3 but it seems huge!!!

Mine seems huge as well, it'll probably be his coming home outfit but I think I'll have to get a little fat suit to put underneath it so it fits better :D

i bought the 0-3 for a friends baby when he was born and he was 5months before it fit properly :rotfl:

these footy teams must think all babies are biff!

Well isnt there a programme on 4(or 5 or another channel like that) about our fat baby epidemic!!!!! No wonder people think all babies are massive now lol

omg yeh ive seen the trailer for that, that baby is huge, thats gotta hurt

I got stuff from bump on mothers day - although Daddy must of got them cos i cant remember bump taking his/herslef to the shops

DH is away on fathers day, but i've got him a card from moonpig - you can upload photos on there so i've put bumps scan pic on there and written it from bump, olny cost £3 or so but i know he'll love it...he's turning into a right soppy sod!

mines forgot about mothersday despite being shown how cute the 'mother to be' cards were :x and hes been reminded several times since

i was ging to get him a card etc for fathers day but wasnt sure what to get.

My husband's birthday was two weeks before Father's Day, so I got him a card for FD and as a combination gift I got him a great digital camera he has wanted for ages. It was too expensive for just one of either days, but I justified it by calling it a gift for both days and because we were desperate for a decent camera for when the baby arrives! :D

oh, I didn't see this thread before...I've posted one in off topic asking for advice over whether or not to get my dh a card for fathers day as he got me one for mothers day. I had planned to do the moonpig thing too.
Needed advice cos I wasn't sure if it was such a good idea after his dad passing away so recently but I think I will do it now as he is a daddy to be and that shouldn't be ignored....i think, oh I hope I don't upset him! :?

My DH didn't get me anything for Mother's Day either. My Mum and I were talking about this same topic this morning and we said men (obviously not all) just don't seem to pick up on hints or realise it would be a sweet thing to do. My DH is so sweet just didn't get me a prezzzie

However, bump has brought DH a card and http://www.next.co.uk/shopping/children/newborn/3/5 that says

'my dad is is a dishy dad' DH is shy and will roll his eyes at that :rotfl: :rotfl:

and a picture frame that says Me + My Daddy Dad see

I'm sad to say I brought them back in February!
