So I've stopped eating beans and lentils, which means half of the things I used to eat before are out of the question, as they make my baby windy. But over the weekend we have discovered she can't stomach fresh tomatos either. Only she's much worse with tomatos than with anything else! Unfortunately we have discovered this as I have an end of summer glut of tomatos in my greenhouse, and believe in the 'waste not, want not' philosophy and have been cooking a variety of tomato related recipes all weekend.

Now I have a baby who farts for England! She be happy and gurgly one minute, then screaming the next and writhing around, until the biggest, most rumbly bottom burp comes out. Then she's happy again. She is farting more than her dad after a curry - and that's saying a lot  .

While it was initially amusing when she let rip with a big one, my main aim now is to relieve her obvious discomfort. Clearly the first step has been to stop eating tomatos (I will have to freeze lots instead.) But in the meantime we have to wait for the effects of my recent diet to wear off both of us.

Does anyone have any suggests for the short term (and if I find anything else I can't eat?)

No suggestions I'm afraid but interesting to see what others may suggest. Ryan does big ones too but generally only when he's asleep. He doesn't wake up or anything so they can't be too uncomfortable for him, but still lol.
