I know this is gonna sound stupid but I'm gutted :(
Lacey failed her school eye test today and has been referred to bath hospital for another test.
I know it might be a mistake so there just double checking but I've got awful eyesight and deep down I've always known she'll need glasses sometime, I just wasn't prepared for this until she is at least 10 :(
Like I said I know I sound silly but I'm so upset that she might have to wear glasses!!

Aw hun :hugs:

My Cousin's 3yr old loves her Snow White glasses :)

She'll have far more options as an adult though these days.

Lxx

oh hun!! I think we will be in the same sitauation as both me n demba have really bad eye sight! I understand its not what you want. Nothing wrong with glasses but i still get what you are saying :hugs:
lets hope they where mistaken!

Thanks guys! I just feel like I've failed her for some reason like it's my fault if she has got bad eyesight. I hate wearing my glasses and I think that's why I fill so down about it!
She prob won't care if she's got to wear them!!

i keept on taking mine of, forgetting them everywhere and getting told of when i came home without them..

my eldest needs them for reading and she doesnt mind them there are some really cool 1s now

I fill abit better today about it. I think last night it was a shock that suddenly she might need glasses. It's like I can't be in control of her eyesight but I want to protect her from her eyes going bad! x x

Cross that bridge IF you come to it. School nurse vision tests are usually done in small groups and also usually done after hearing, height and weight are done, so concentration at this point is dwindling to say the least! xx

I had glasses when I was about 3 for a few years and then I stopped needing them. Then when I was about 10 I really wanted them and was begging my mum to get me some with clear glass (one of the cool kids got glasses and all of the sudden everyone wanted them).
