My wife and I are supposed to start inseminating in a couple of weeks with a known donor. The thing is, our 2 donors both live in the same city, 45-60 minutes away from us. Will the sperm live long enough for us to get it home if we keep it body temperature and in a sealed sterile specimen cup? Would it help to add a little Preseed to the donations?
We don't have anywhere to do the insemination in the donors' city and we both would be more relaxed if we did the actual insemination at home. Both donors are willing to come to us, however they would have to take the train, which is rather expensive here in Denmark.
Has anyone had success and gotten a bfp with a donation that's more than an hour old? We want this so very badly.
