Ugh, I can hardly type. I have a lovely 21 month old to look after and a transatlantic move to be getting on with, but I'm 7 ish weeks pregnant and I only want to sleep. Any good coping strategies from all you seasoned pro mums?

I can imagine how tired you must be, I organised a house move and container from Australia when I was 5/6 months pregnant - that was tiring enough on its own without another little one to look after. All I can suggest is to rest whenever you can and try to get some time to yourself if at all possible! Good luck, where are you moving to? :)

Get the hubby to do the house stuff and catch some:sleep: The boxes can wait!

Thanks girls! I will try those ideas out. We are moving to San Francisco, bit of an upheaval, I've had to leave my job which is going to be a bit wierd. Not sure how I'll cope with the stay at home mum thing, its definately the harder option for me, I was working part time until christmas.

Wow how exciting! Good luck with your move, I love moving! :)

oh my goodness thats a big move... i pity you i moved last month and it was a total disaster and just me and hubby to move... GOOD LUCK!!! xxx

Oh how exciting! You'll have a great time, the weather surely will be better?! And you will have all that time with your little one, if you have second thoughts Ill swap!!! ;)

Oh you lucky thing! I love San Francisco! We said it would be somewhere we'd like to live and we also have some friends there. In fact she just emailed me the New Years menu for our fav restaurant to make me jealous! Ah zucchini flowers......:cloud9: You should go!

Hi, ike Rosies mum said just have lots of rest when you can and nap when your toddler does - i can't seem to go all day without a sleep! Good luck with your move.

Yeah - its not all bad! I was just feeling a bit over whelmed when I posted, Rosie's mummy - are you from Australia, or are you English? I was just wondering how it was moving away from family just before you had a baby?
