Exhausted!!!

Hiya,
I am feeling totally exhausted all the time, barely have the energy to move some days, its really getting me down.
I have had an iron deficiency since a young child but the havent had to take any extra iron tablets for a while now, and my midwife advised me not to untill she told me otherwise, they are doing iron test early for me because of this, but it is still a while away, do you think its worth ringing them to ask about it?

It can't hurt, normally they take about 5 days to come back tho.

What was your iron levels like at the booking in bloods ?

They were 11.5 so very slightly low, but over the years they seem to take a sudden drop which obviously does worry me a bit more now im pregnant.

Oh yeah that's a bit of a worry for you, but they sound like they are planning to keep a good eye on your levels, so that's great.

Try to keep boosting your iron with your diet , that's what i'm doing. and I'm going to get some of that spatone , (liquid) the girls keep talking about as the tablets the docs said to use, really bung me up!

I have been trying to watch my diet to help out, but nothing seems to be working.
Well i shall give the midwife a call tomorrow, see if they can give me anymore advice.
Unfortunately it is affecting work as i have had to take a few days off as i just cant concentrate, and i have a feeling tomorrow maybe another, glad they are being so understanding though.
