Exciting day today!

I am soooo looking foward to today.

I have agility training this morning with my dog, but after running around a field for an hour (fx itdoesn't rain), I am going over to my mums and we are going to start sorting through all the baby stuff she has stored!!

There is a complete travel system, moses basket, cot and hundreds and hundreds of clothes that I think go from newborn to a year old and all for a little boy! A guy that works for my dad let him have it when we thought my lil bro and his fiance were expecting. Turns out they weren't so it's all coming to me. The cot was mine from when I was a baby!

I am so excited, can't wait to go through it all!

Ah sounds like u have a really good day planned. Going through baby stuff is is definitely squeak-worthy . My mom knits baby clothes, blankets and shawls and after I told her I was pg, it was finally my turn to have a mooch through everything . I had a great time, although OH just wasn't interested then lol.

It was amazing!

Figured out how to use the travel system and car seat, it was great fun!

And as for the clothes... up until lil man is 3 months old, I will need to buy NOTHING at all for him- there is just tonnes of stuff- I think my washing machine may well pack in the amount I'll have to wash! Although, I know he will probably not get to wear half of it, I doubt I will be able to resist buying a couple of little bits for him- deffo going to buy him a special going home outfit.

Also got a whole load of 3-6 months, 6-9 months and a few bits for up to 18 mths.

I just had a text from my cousin offering me a play gym, feeding pillow and a tens machine as a gift from her.

I am so lucky to be blessed with such amazing and generous friends and family and I am so grateful to them for letting us have all of this baby gear. It is soo wonderful!

What an amazing day- now all that's left is to relax on the sofa and feel little man kicking away- what a way to end the day *sighs contentedly*

I will happily accept any freebies that come my way and be truly grateful for them. The amount of money we have saved looking at what we have been given already is unbelievable- we are very very lucky indeed.
