Just had my second midwife appointment and heard the heartbeat again - it's such a lovely feeling

I thought I felt the first movements last week but wasn't sure but after speaking to the midwife today and describing it to her she said it definitely sounded like it was the baby, am so excited now! I can't wait to feel the proper kicks and also for DH to feel them too

When is your midwife appointment? Sure you will hear the heartbeat then, it's such a nice feeling as it confirms everything is fine.

I had my second midwife appointment today as well and heard the heart beat for the first time. Oh my god its incredible! I am so excited and cant wait till my scan next week now.

That's great that you heard the heartbeat, I got to hear it on my booking it visit too so was lucky. Have my next scan on 26th May so can't wait. Are you going to find out what you are having? We are, can't wait until I give birth

Definately want to find out sex. My scan is on Friday 12th so not long now. Really looking forward to the birth but am really scared about being a mum!

Wow, I cant wait till I get to hear the heartbeat, scans etc. Pregnancy is so very exciting!! Im gonna enjoy it as much as possible xxx

Hopefully you will be luckier than I was. A lot of people get to hear heart beat earlier and some have scans early as well depending on where you live. It seems like i have waited ages for scans and appointments. But i suppose it is well worth the wait

Well i havent seen my midwife since i was 6 weeks pregnant and i have tried to call and left messages at the doctors for her but no reply i really hope to hear it soon xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
