EWCM query

Hi all! Hope everyone is ok. Just something I've always wondered but never found the answer to. When you first get EWCM should you do the deed immediately? What comes first? Does EWCM mean you've already ovulated and egg Is waiting? Or does it mean egg will be released imminently or that you're at the end and egg is about to go? TIA

You can get EWCM for up to 6 days before ovulating. If you can dtd every other day from the start of it that's ideal I think. It's a sign you are in your fertile window. But sperm only live for 2-3 days generally so it can help to use opks too.
