Well after receiving a letter in Jan to say they are revising their prices (was waiting for monthly bill to go up)
I had a letter yesterday.. They are revised our account and APPARENTLY can reduce our monthly bill by £30!

YAY!!
I was only paying £68 for both gas and electric before and thought that was low!!!
We only have to pay £38 starting from 1st may!! going to save the spare 30 in our savings towards when my wages drop whilst on mat leave.
Knowing our luck near xmas they will increase it again but tbh.. i was expecting that in the 1st place so aslong as its not ALOT Im happy!!

:D :D pointless thread but yay! every penny counts! x

I'm with EDS, and I pay £54 for gas and electric, I was amazed! I was with Southern Electric before and they were charging a ridiculous amount.

British Gas i was with in my old place and i was always over paying!!!

Quite happy with this price considering ive had my heating on every night since November lmao! x

This is depressing to read!!! We pay 168 p/m gas and electric :-( and we even have solar panels for hot water in summer!!! Granted we do have a big house to heat, but I turn it all off down the one end of the house!!

Ouchieee!!

Thats alot tigger!! I haaaate money! Its te centre of everything we do!

No doubt mine will shoot up again later in the year xx

I pay 115 per month for gas and electric. Its ridiculous because vi work 4 days of the week!

I'm with eon too but on a pre payment meter. Be careful with them reducing your bill so much, they did that to me a while back and then 6 months later virtually tripled the direct debit because they under estimated usage. It was at that point I decided to go on our payment so I'm never in debt again, infact I have only recently finished paying back the debt I owed because of there dodgy "estimation".

I use approx £25 a week gas in the winter a week and £20 electric and about half that per week in the summer.

I also live by the saying "if the bill seems to good to be true then it probably is!" x

Tapatalking so can't see sigs

I think its to good to be true aswell!!!

The 30 quid they have taken off im saving incase they decide to surprise me with a big increase!!
