Ive heard of it think it helps with implantation its not offered where we are but id go for it if it was it can't do any harm but if your self funding look into the stats on how much it improves pregnancy rates x
We asked about this at our appt today as we're about to start our first round. The nurse said they don't offer it the first time but something they would do after a failed round. We had recently read an article about it which made us ask. As far as I know they just make a couple of scratches on the lining of your uterus and it's supposed to help implantation.
My clinic offers this as I can tick it on one of the forms. We're NHS funded though so not sure if we would have to pay for it ourselves or not. I'd find that out next week at our appointment with the nurse. On their price list it's £235
I've attached a copy of the info my clinic provides about it hon. Hopefully it will help. I've also attached info about other procedures that they offer in case you're interested in them.....
Thank you I will have a look. Is the last one ICSI maybe? We had that for the first go but got a good fertilisation rate with the non ICSI ones so didn't need it the 2nd time.
