since last night i've been getting quite upset about silly things, most things seem to set me off crying, i cant remember feeling like this with my 1st. its not that im not happy, i am over the moon with ryan i just feel so down. please tell me im not the only one who felt/feels like this

It sounds like the baby blues. i had them they only lasted about 2-3 days :)

yep definatly sounds like baby blues, I had them about 2 days after Matilda born, cried at everything, they lasted about a week for me.

dont worry, jus your hormones going haywire

baby blues :D

I've never met a mum who didn't get them - guess you were lucky with the first

crying is good - it actually helps to get rid of excess hormones and releases endorphins - so blub away

ooohh i got it too! I had it for about a week, i still get teary but not as much.x

Oh I remember it well! I was nearly always in tears from when Brody was 3 days old up until a week old!

yep i got it :)

it will go soon :)

but your hormones will be all over the place for a while, so expect some mood swings :)

I think it is quite normal to get a bit tearful for a little while after giving birth. I cried nearly every day for a few weeks after having Jake which was probably a mixture of tiredness and anxiety for me. I'm sure it will pass soon but if it doesn't then see mention it to your HV

i felt really weird for about a week after i gave birth, it was a bit like i was floating! i didnt feel down or cry, but i do remember feeling very very fragile- like i COULD cry very easily if provoked?
so yes its ur hormones hun it takes at least a week to feel normal, actually probably more like 10 days. u mustve been lucky with ur 1st!
