I have had to had internal scans in the past at 6/7/8 weeks because I have a funny shaped uterus, i dodn't mind, they offer you the external first and try this first. I was worried about the internal one but it is fine, a smear test is much worse, it is just a probe and luckily not too big.

I had an internal scan at 11 weeks with James cos I didn't know how many weeks I was. It's nothing to worry about.
