Emergency scan this morning. Terrified

Well at 10:50 I have my scan to see if all is ok, can't help but think the worse, stopped bleeding yesterday afternoon, but woken up to a light bleed. Hardly slept, horrible nightmares and backache. Think it's all over and so upset. Have to go to work for an hour first as well. They don't know yet.... Just feel like crying x

this probably wont help but bleeding can be anything, with my last pregnancy i started bleeding but was bright red then a wk later i passed bright red and huge clots obviously lost baby, bled some bright red in this pregnancy then for just over a week had sark brown blood every day for a week, had a scan but sac was completely empty, went back two weeks later found a baby

I've bled on 2 occasions during this pregnancy both before 7 weeks. The second time was a lot heavier and I passed a number of clots. I had about 3 internal scans and on all 3 there was baby with his heartbeating away. It turned out that I had a blood clot in my uterus which was just under the placenta.
I bled for about 5 weeks on the second bleed but it was mostly brown blood. I was referred to a consultant and had weekly or fortnightly scans until I was reassured that the baby was ok. I stopped going when I was about 18 weeks pregnant.
The internal scans weren't too bad. A bit uncomfortable but bearable.
Hope everything goes well for you today. Please keep us updated and try to relax. Not all bleeding is bad bleeding.

yh i had internal scans, they basically stick a very long thing up u but u really cant feel it, just feels a bit like a bloke rather than a probe like thing, i find them more comfortable than normal scans, hope urs went ok xx
