Just a quick birth story for now, ill edit make it longer when i get a few more mins 
Was having contractions all night wednesday from 11pm til 5am but they were mild although they got closer together every hour, from 10mins to 4mins, then they got stronger at 7am where they were 6 mins apart.. went to the shops with my mum for snacks and drinks for labour..
Mum went to work at about 2pm as we thought it was false labour as the contractions started getting irregular by then..10mins then 3 mins then back to 6mins
at 3:10pm i thought id better get some rest as i was up all night the night before, layed down and then pop! waters went! I was so stunned!
Contacted a few people, then mum and stepdad came home at about 4:45pm and mum took me to hospital... contractions were getting stronger and they took me straight to the delivery suite..
I had her in the SAME ROOM as i had Jaycee!! Was really nice to be there again!!
I was only 2cm by that point so thought i had a long wait.. contractions got intense and i had some pethadine and tested out the gas and air.. FANTASTIC stuff!! If u use it right it can get u thru labour SO much better!! Also this time i stayed mobile, pacing the room and when i felt a contraction id lean over the table and gas myself up!
The best way to do it as gravity makes it go SO much faster!!
At 7pm her heart rate was going up with every contraction and i had to relax.. i concentrated on my baby girl and not the pain and it really helped! Her heart rate got better and i managed to deal with the pain better too.
By 8:30 the pain was very strong and i was feeling pressure down there, i asked to be checked again and i was 8cm and progressing very well! (MW was right about it being fast!) But then they told me she was back to back and then i knew it was gonna hurt!!
9:30 i was so desperate to push and they were telling me not to, so i begged them to check if i was ready to push, but they told me it was too soon... then i KNEW i was going to push on the next one, so i told them seriously to check me coz i AM pushing and i wont be able to stop! so they pulled me back onto the bed (i was leaning over the bed before) and said i was ready to push! 4 pushes and she was out!! I didnt tear or even graze!
My sister cut the cord and amazingly watched everything!! Chris was trying not to pass out lol and my mum was crying!
At 9:47pm on Thursday 3rd May 2007 Elyssa Marie entered the world weighing a healthy 7lb 5oz!!
I havent put any pics on my pc yet but as soon as i do there will be heaps!! Hopefully emmylou will post the pic i sent to her for me!
